Good morning from the Philippines (Friday morning here). Yesterday was a long day of mostly travel. We left San Jose, Camarines Sur at 7 AM. We had a couple short stops in Naga and Ragay, but mostly it was travel all day, and really slow travel once we reached Metro Manila traffic. Getting from the south side of Metro Manila to Navotas (northwest side) took 3 hours in traffic. Anyway, I arrived here at the church in Navotas at 7 PM. Other than a bad headache, I'm doing well this morning. Thank you for all your prayers for a safe trip. God bless

I'm on my way to Bicol later this morning. Will leave around 5 AM. I'll just be there 3 days to have meetings with leaders there to coordinate our upcoming trip in April by a short-term team from my home church, Fifth Avenue Christian Church, Havre, Montana. It has been almost 8 months since I last visited our churches in Bicol, so it will be a happy few days. I will try to post a picture or two from there.

Good morning from the Philippines. I have already had 2 Sundays here. My first two weeks were busy getting year-end reports done for my mission and for the churches here. I'm happy to be free of all of that paperwork. I still do have to update my website and get a newsletter out. Also, I have been renewing relationships here, which has been great, especially with all the youth that are so attached to me. I did miss them. Arnel and I have been working on updating our sound system in Navotas. They have been limping along on some patched up electronics for a long lime. A year-end gift from Moses Lake Christian Church makes it possible to buy some new equipment for here and in Bicol. Praise God for His perfect timing. I will be making a trip to Bicol next week to do planning for a team coming here in April. Do look for my newsletter coming out in a day or two. If it is not sent to you, request to be added to the list by sending me an email at mueller.dale@gmail.com . The newsletter can also be viewed on my website www.icm-phil.net on the newsletter link.

Had my first Sunday with everybody here in Navotas. I'm definitely not missing the sub-zero Montana weather. This time of year is quite mild here. It gets up to 80-85 in the day and down to 75-80 F at night. Of course it is humid. I spent the last few days getting back in touch with everybody. Kids all go back to school tomorrow, so things will get down to a routine. By the way, for those planning to come with me in April the weather will be a little more challenging then. By then daily highs are 95-100 F and lows 80-85 F. God bless you all.

I made it to the PHILIPPINES. 28 hours after leaving my brothers house in Billings, MT, I arrived in Manila at about 11 PM New Years Eve. Because of the time and the revelry going on in the streets for the new year, I was not able to go directly to Navotas last night. I will go there this morning (Jan 1, 2014). I'm looking forward to being re-united with all my friends and loved ones here. Thank you for all your prayers. I'll be doing updates in a few days, once I know my itinerary here.
