Back to Manila

I'm on my way back to Manila today. I was not able to proceed with going to Caramoan because of deteriorating weather and I already have a bad cough and cold.

Isarog in morning

We have another sunshine day. Here is Mt. Isarog morning view from the church.

Mountain

Finally, the clouds lifted from Mt. Isarog just before sunset tonight. It is a dormant volcano. This view from our church in San Jose. I'll try to get a better sunrise view in the morning.

Sunday

Praise God. Sunday activities went well. Monday and Tuesday will be in Naga City. Weather permitting, I'll be in Caramoan by Wednesday. Sunshine today.

San Jose Youth

Still raining here Saturday morning. Our joint youth fellowship last night had about 40 attending.

San Jose Update.

I'm still at the church in San Jose. Tonight I will be speaker at a combined youth gathering of many area churches. I will also be speaking here at Sunday services. Please pray for good weather for going to Caramoan next week. It is still rainy here these days.

San Jose

I'm in San Jose now. This picture is of Genielle, the 5 year old grand-daughter of Pastor Ben, who went through almost 1 year of chemotherapy for leukemia. She is now beginning to recover nicely. Her hair is just starting to grow again. Pray that she continues to be cancer free.

Sunday

It's Sunday morning here in Ragay. I will be preaching this morning. Later, there are 15 lined up to be baptized. Mostly youth. Praise God

Bicol

I made it to Ragay last night. Lots and lots of rain all day today. Now no electrity. Hahaha. Usual experience here.

I will be on an extended trip to the Bicol Region here in the Philippines from January 10 to 30, visiting our churches in Ragay, San Jose and Caramoan. For the most part, I will not have internet access during this time, but I will post on this BLOG from time to time from my cell phone. Please be praying for my physical strength for this trip. My trip to Vietnam has been tentatively rescheduled for March.
